BolaKini Malaysian Football Portal

About BolaKini

BolaKini is a Malaysian football portal publishing live scores, fixtures, results, league tables and club and player profiles. It exists for readers who want the actual numbers — not opinions — when they check the Super League table, the Malaysia Cup schedule or Johor Darul Ta'zim's record.

What we cover

Every page on this site is generated from a match database we maintain ourselves. Five competitions carry most of the weight:

  • Malaysia Super League — the full 12-club table, weekly standings and the top scorer list.
  • Premier League — the second tier and the promotion race.
  • Malaysia Cup — group stage through to the final.
  • Malaysia FA Cup — the open knockout competition.
  • MFL Cup — the competition for academy and reserve sides.

Beyond Malaysia we also hold data for the main South-East Asian club leagues and continental competitions, so readers can compare local clubs against regional opposition.

How the data is kept current

Fixtures are synchronised every ten minutes and each day's final scores are re-checked after the last whistle. League tables are computed from the results we store, not copied from a screenshot — which is why they can always be recomputed from source. Individual match pages hold the goal timeline, possession statistics, line-ups and the head-to-head record between the two clubs.

No third-party API is called while a page loads. Every number and sentence you see is already on the server before the page is sent, so the site stays readable on a slow connection and on any device.

Two languages, one site

Every page exists in a Malay version and an English version. Both read from the same database, so the figures can never contradict each other. The language link at the top of each page takes you to the same page in the other language.

Editorial principles

We do not publish unverified scores, invent matches that did not happen, or pad pages with filler text to chase search rankings. The analysis you read on a match page is built from that match's own numbers — the last five results, the league position, the head-to-head record — so every claim can be traced back to the data.

If you spot a wrong figure, tell us. Data corrections are handled before anything else.
